Crucial Racing HID Kits

REAL, high quality HID (high intensity discharge) lighting kits at a mere fraction of what our competitors sell them for!

These HID kits put out approximately ~3400 lumens of light from only 35 watts of power! Standard 55w halogen bulbs typically make only 900-1200 lumens, while consuming 57% more power.

High quality kits with separate ballast and ignition. Extra slim ballasts make placement in your engine compartment a breeze. Complete plug-and-play installation with high quality, silicone-sealed connectors!

Orders *might* take up to 3 weeks before they ship out. We special order the bulbs from the manufacturer for each order (there are just way too many options for us to stock them all), and while it usually only takes a few days for them to arrive here, sometimes they're out of a certain type and production schedules can take up to a few weeks.

HID bulbs (which we do sell separately, just contact us please) come in various color temperatures. This is basically the shade of the light that the bulbs create. There are MANY photographs of these color temperatures all over google images. However, it breaks down essentially like:

  • 3000k - Yellow. Really great for fog lights! (as seen in Crucial's Nissan Pathfinder 'parts runner')

  • 4500k - Just a touch whiter than a good halogen bulb. Best light output in lumens!

  • 5000k - Crystal clear. Great light output in lumens. (as seen in Crucial's Subaru)

  • 6000k - Light blue tint. More fashionable look.

  • 8000k - Getting pretty blue. Street/show car.

  • 10,000k & 12,000k - Really blue to purple. Show car.

Some halogen bulbs, like H4 and 9007, have two filaments in them. One filament is for low beam, and one is for high beam. In the drop-down menu below, we sell single beam HID replacement bulbs for these applications, and we also sell Dual Beam bulbs for these applications. The standard bulbs are low beam only. Your lights will lose high beam ability (but, of course, low beam will have MUCH better visibility than it used to). With the Dual Beam bulbs, you retain high/low function.

If your car uses separate bulbs for low beam and for high beam light (the Sylvania parts finder will show you two bulb type numbers, one for low, one for high), you want to order just one HID kit to replace the low beam bulbs ONLY. Dual hi/low kits only apply to those cars which have a single halogen bulb in each headlight that provides both high and low beam light.

Price: $95.00 (extra $ options like hi/low will be a separate charge when we process the order)
