Crucial Full 3"
Impreza Midpipes
Full 3" mandrel bent piping with a flat flange on each end. No donut
gasket here. These are two of the only midpipes on the market that are a full
3" diameter from end-to-end! The Crucial midpipes will bolt up to our (or
most other brands') shorty downpipe and will replace the OEM midpipe/secondary
pipe, which houses the final catalytic converter. Your full 3" catback bolts
to the other end (look for one from Crucial coming soon!).
These will turn your shorty downpipe into a long downpipe, but will maintain the
convenience of a modular system -- swap the racepipe in and out for track
days, swap the catalytic converter back in in just minutes for street
driving, or use the highflow pipe full-time without the raw fuel smells and
noise of being catless with nearly no added restriction! Plus one can purchase and replace parts in stages, which is great
for anyone who wants the highest possible quality while working with a tight
budget, or maybe for our customers who drive aggressively off-road and are
rough on undercar piping.
The Crucial highflow catalytic converter midpipe (pictured below) uses
the highest quality metallic substrate catalytic converter available. Much more resistant to heat and vibration than
ceramic units like the factory ones, while being more efficient and offering
nearly no resistance to exhaust flow! Our highflow midpipe is full 304
stainless steel, including flanges, fully TIG welded, and full 3" mandrel
bent. This pipe is absolutely gorgeous.


The Crucial racepipe (pictured below) employs full mandrel bent stainless piping and no catalytic converter for absolute maximum flow and light weight!
