Crucial Legacy GT Midpipes
The Crucial LGT midpipes will bolt up to our (or
most other brands') shorty downpipe and will replace the OEM midpipe/secondary
pipe, which houses the final catalytic converter. Your catback bolts to the
other end using the OEM donut gasket, ensuring a great seal and flexibility
in the system
These midpipes turn your shorty downpipe into a long downpipe, but maintain the
convenience of a modular system -- swap the racepipe in and out for track
days and swap the stock section back in when desired, plus one can purchase and replace parts in stages, which is great
for anyone who wants the highest possible quality while working with a tight
budget.
The Crucial highflow midpipe pictured below uses the highest quality
metallic substrate catalytic converter available. Much more resistant to
heat and vibration than ceramic units like the factory ones, while being
more efficient and offering nearly no resistance to exhaust flow!
Our highflow midpipe is full 304 stainless steel, including flanges, and
fully TIG welded. This pipe is gorgeous.

The Crucial racepipe pictured below is made of mild steel to keep cost down on such a
simple piece, and a piece that some customers choose not to run on a
full-time basis. To protect it for a lifetime of rust-free use, we have these
pipes professionally powdercoated with a special black powdercoat designed
for very high temperature environments. It's durable and quite attractive.
